Running for a long time with a poorly seated air filter, broken air hose or no air filter at all can result in extreme compressor wear such as this:

Please remember to check your u-tube seals and the u-tube for cracks. Most importantly, if you buy a car from GreenBenz, perhaps by mistake, put an air filter in it ASAP!
