I saw a 115 restoration in progress the other day and noticed that the exhaust manifold looked really well designed. 3 and 2 header configuration with smooth bends
The outlet points horizontally and looks like it would work well if an adapter elbow were made to match up to a vnt. The adapter would have a little more length for a smooth transition.

It seems like something others here would have already thought of. Any experiences to share?

Thought about it. Ended up going with W116 300SD non-EGR manifolds on both of mine.

The manifold I used on my 240d turbo was a w115 4cyl exhaust manifold with a cast iron adapter to the rajay turbo It dose work well but I pan on making a new adapter to fit a newer turbo
