I know where one running 240 automatic car is...as well a 3 cylinder 240 manual car are an can probably pick them both up for around $600-700!

The 3 cylinder is because one rod is sticking out of the block and it still runs! The old addage about these things are hard to killBig Grin is readily apparent!

I am really intrigued with the thought of putting together a 90-100hp 4 banger with a manaul transmission! One guy said he has gotten as high as 37MPG_______As I commute around 85 miels a day, and miles add up quickly_________

I found these pics (MIDDLE picture is a different car) on the web of a couple of projects and one mentioned a SST turbo kit that was available in the early 70's for the om616... one ugy is running about 6.5lbs and the other tops out around 9lbs

ANY INFORMATION HOW TO PULL THIS OFF WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

All 3 of those use parts modified from a 300D, except the first one uses a turbo from a Volvo.
