Hi I moved this to non MBZ but would love to hear about the outcome of this and if you are willing a pictorial. I am a huge fan of the wide body Z's and used to drive a 200sx that I ragged to shit (pizza delivery and I was always well tipped). Loved that car for the POS it was. A 300Z with a diesel in it would be fun. IIRC the 300Z engine is perpendicularly mounted?
