Do you mean retrofitting an ALDA onto an injection pump that previously didn't have one?

W123 Mods: 4 speed ** manual climate control ** '85 Kalitucky intake ** manual windows & full tint ** Euro headlights retrofit w/bixenon projectors ** 4 brake light mod ** Vogtland 50mm drop front & Lesjofors S600 drop rear springs ** 16" rims ** late w126 brake spindles, rotors & calipers ** full suspension rehab ** Bilstein HDs ** AL129X alternator & 1/0 starter and charging cables ** 300GD clutch/flywheel ** AFCO 80103N radiator & Earl's 41610 oil cooler ** custom block-off plate, remote oil filter & t-stat ** MW IP w/ tomnik's 6.5mm 'Holly' elements **

S124 Mods: 400E Rear subframe ** SL600 Brakes ** Late 300E 210mm diff ** SLK230 6 speed ** 17" CLK rims ** Vented RF Fender ** Facelift Hood, Headlights, and Lower Cladding **

I've fitted a Dmeken ALDA to a 606 pump myself. Fairly straightforward to fit although it does need fuelling limits set up in a pump shop. I had a couple of fitting issues and reported them back to DM who says he has modded the new kits he now supplies.

Good service I thought.

The fuelling needs set-up. You can't simply plonk bigger elements into a pump and expect the rack et al to be adjusted to the correct settings. Since I'm going down the route of standard 606.962 I asked the pump shop to set the idle and max fuel to the same delivery figures as a W210 300TD electric pump, with max fuel being at 1bar to coincide with the 1bar ALDA and wastegate.
I cannot speak from experience as to whether this will work because today was the first start the engine has had in it's new chassis and that was for a brief second and at idle. In a couple of weeks or so it hopefully will be on the road and then I'll know if it's correct....or not.
