Most of you will probably hate this
but i LOVE IT!!
Holy sh*t...that thing is in the weeds. Nice.
I usually don't like 95% of all low riders...but that thing is pretty sweet.
Beers,
Matt
Droooooool... Want.
i think the chrome cragars look great on it. i think i might try to find a set of 17-18in steelies to put on mine and rust them *awaits some hate*
stretched tires are so effing lame. That ting would look good on some proper wheels
i enjoy stretched tires. i do think they are stupid at the same time though. i like the way they look
I agree with the stretched tires thing... hate it personally...
I like the drop though... looks sweet and as said above with some decent sized wheels it would look sweet.

Those tires dont hardly look like they are even beaded up on the rim. I really dont like any low riders, but this one (being a W115) isnt too bad
That wheel/tire combo is fuckin stupid!
Please give me ONE good reason for choosing that. Don't worry ...... I'll wait
That is just ass backwards. the tire should ALWAYS be wider than the wheel.
I just cant get over this. If I saw that guy I have to slap some sense into him

Places where the sidewall/tread width is wider than the wheel:
NASCAR
Offroad (Any form)
Drag racing (any form)
AMA
....
That "retarded" amount of flex is an IMPORTANT factor! All forms of racing depend on it
Your right, its all about opinion, I just think it looks hideous lol
indy cars and american lemans tires are even
but i agree with you in all the racings you mentioned bigger than the wheel is beneficial. esp off road man i wish i had a xj
I park on it just like this if i saw it.. This is my truck and 240D
Win! Nice truck man.
Nice Jesse
XJ for yeah:
Hell yea capt. Is it manual? Do you plan to cage it?
Hey boost is there a build thread for the original car in question?
He might have rolled the fenders just to fit those tires on those rims. Looks to me if the tires were any wider, IE, the right tires for rims like that, he'd have fender/tire rubbing if he doesn't already.
The guy did a nice job on the fender roll though, especially the rear, looks nothing like my 115, which stock hardly has any flare out for the tires.
(09-12-2011, 01:31 AM)vstef_is Offtopic: Captain, can you still close and open the doors while flexed?

(09-12-2011, 03:04 PM)Captain America Its Semi-Auto lol. It has the Auto AW4 that I shift manually with three switches. I plan to exo cage it after I do boat sides.
This weekend I cut and folded the rear flares and quarters. Also hacked the bumper
Dont wanna thread jack but I have a "build thread" Here: http://www.xjsocal.com/showthread.php?30...#post29168

you win!
Surprisingly they do great when rolled as long as its not at a high speed.
Color of money was a way nicer car. He went downhill a little with the wires but still nicer than this pos.
We will have to go wheeling sometime since desert season is real close. I know a bunch of fun trails that you can do and few other that I can winch you up.
not to knock lowering, but I can never understand the goal. I mean, you just spend tons on money and ingenuity on making the car nearly impossible to drive normally. Where can you take that car?
One of the things I most love about some of these older cars is that they have a fairly high ground clearance, and are pretty robust, making them able to go most places within reason.
I would just hate to have that beautiful 115, and then not be able to take it everywhere, especially in CO where its based. My favorite part of the 115s is that it feels like a smaller sportier car than the 123 stock, even though its almost the exact same size.

Yeah she got robbed of the trans, fuel tank, and the blue plates and a few other random parts. I didn't have the time to rebuild anymore.
Wow. Ummm........ At least it looks wayy better than a Civic hatchback rice rocket (aka sh*t box). lol
larsalan I guess I need to look at this stupid ass drip shit. What you have to like mess with those elements on the pump? What a fucking hassle. then use some wire to hold the throttle open or some shit?
You need to do something about that exhaust it's ugly. I'd recommend a through-the-fender 3"
