We've got a 722.3 out of a W124 300D behind a stock OM606. Is there a way to up the line pressure but still get normal shift points or shift manually? I don't have much time left to build a linkage for the bowden cable. If I adjust the cable to think it's under full throttle will the car still shift, or will it only shift at max RPM?

I drove a 928 with the 722.3 and it was semi manual. It did not shift unless the shifter was moved to the next gear and it shifted very firm. I don't know what was done to make it work like that but that's really what I'm after for our 722.3.
