ok so i got a build im currently working on
its a landrover with om617
so engine works nice and sounds like 617 should
when im accelerating i have 0 black smoke
boost reading 10 psi in manifold and thats after 3000rpm maybe
straight boost line to ALDA
alda unscrewed CCW till stop
wastegate disconnected- for testing purpose
no vacuums connected to both actuators on side of pump
help needed what am i missing ?
also 0 smoke in any conditions

Exhaust leak? Boost leak? Waste stuck open or not sealing?

Check fuel supply, filters, pump, collapsed hoses, any sock/strainer in the tank, may cause lazy engine. Especially with low sulfur diesel which has sat for long time... the sludge.
