Oil Filters OM vs M micron size - JoeB - 09-25-2020

Does anyone know what the OM606 filter media pass-through particle size is? 10 micron? 60? 5?  and if you do happen to know, I wonder if it is the same, better or worse as the M104 petrol engines.

Mahle/knecht/mann/hengst brands for reference if you happen to be in the know.

Would be good info to have.  Though if you're interested in better oil filtration, then you should add on an aftermarket bypass oil filter system. Amsoil makes a nice universal kit.  98.7% efficient at 2 microns.
