Which 722.6 for 94 e300d (N/A om606) - Mh95e300d - 01-07-2019

Hello guys.
(I tried searching & searching)

So my stock transmission(722.4) in my 94 e300d (N/A om606 engine) is showing signs of failure(not able to move in reverse if it has to climb/ move on slope).
Now in near future I might be doing some performance upgrade to this car(internal, turbo, pump upgrades and plans to achieve somewhere 600hp) but for now stock car

So I was wondering instead of getting this transmission rebuild, why not start searching for all the required parts including the 722.6 transmission and swap it.

Now I am not too much of technical guy in this department and my trusted mechanic would do the swap. So required least tricky fit, list. Now can anyone suggest (other than olefejer's standalone controller, tps sensor)
Out of which vehicle should I be looking for 722.6, bellhousing, instrument cluster etc for my vehicle and and current need.

Maybe a complete list from someone who has already done same to same spec car, would be of great help.

Looking forward to your valuable suggestions.

Thanks

I am narrowing down to e270cdi gearbox. Will it be good enough for 700-800nm for my future upgrades?

olefejer controller
e270 cdi gearbox (easily available, no bellhousing swap, might add clutch if I upgrade figures in future).
w202 gearshifter

TPS
CLUSTER.

any suggestions and link to it?

Possible solutions for tps:

For speedometer you can use W124 V8 cluster or W126 speedometer and mod it so it fits the W124 cluster

Great thanks.

Now on my last part of puzzle. I am planning to add clutch packs before gearbox swap as "do it once" thing, as I will soon be high power building the car. Now I am novice to this thing and e320cdi and v8 boxes from w211 are my super rare in my country and e270 box is readily available. Any leads on that guys

Just when I was about to bite the bullet for e270 gearbox, I got to know a 722.636 gearbox is up for sale.

Now my query is, that the bellhousing from 722.4 gearbox in my w124 e300d mated to om606 n/a originally, can be used for swapping the bellhousing of 722.636 to make it fit to om606

No, as the 722.4 is one piece, without a removable bellhousing. Of course you could cut and weld but it's a lot of work

Any bellhousing from petrol or diesel 1.8-3.0 straight engine will fit, only 3.2cdi and V8 is different.

Hey there, dont want to hijack the thread, but does anybody know the gear ratios on a 722.629 transmission? Also if anybody needs an inline bell housing for one, I will trade for a round style one.
