HELP! OM606 / What clutch? - VORT3X - 04-27-2018

Hello mates!

I am running Om606 and Precision 6466 and around 500hp.
Had until recently a buit 228mm sinter clutch and uprated pressure plate on dual mass orginal flywheel.
But clutch is slipping.
Now I am looking for a reasonable upgrade. Should not cost more than 600€

I have read here that someone adapted a Sachs 707 to the sprinter flywheel with machining.
Are there any other options than the "expensive" Sachs 765?

it seems that only my pressure plate is too weak and that should upgrade to 240mm.

Any help appreciated!

thanks guys

P.S. running 6 speed C-class Gearbox

Sachs 765 pp is only 240€ in germany. You can use the 250TD W202 friction disk. Just buy a cheap Sprinter smf conversion kit from UK and modify the flywheel to fit the Sachs 765. This setup should be around 600€ and will hold the power. In my opinion there is no other option which holds the torque for a reasonable price.

Thanks for the input.
Do you know what has to be modified exactly to make the Sachs 765 fit?
Thanks
