stock turbo and 7.5mm pump - Cstolaircraft - 06-26-2017

I am thinking of getting a 7.5 mm mw pump for my om617, goal would be to get around 200hp to make for easy daily driving which might include wanting to run 80 in the highway without keeping the thing floored. engine is in a toyota pickup with 4.56 gears and 33s on large hills I am dropping to 65ish flat i run 75 pretty easy. currently have a k26, will it push enough air for 200hp?

No.

Go for a HE221W or HX30W would be my recommendation

As he said, no. The k26 is barely adequate for stock power and with a 7.5mm pump you'll need something way more efficient. And preferably an intercooler too

Mw pump with 7.5mm odd thing... indeed
How much is it injecting? That is a lot more important to mach the turbo...

Was told it could inject enough fuel for 300hp and 500 tq. I am assuming that with both of the mentioned turbos u have to modify the intake?

Yes, you'd have to either modify it to fit a silicone boot or find a w115 intake (very rare). You'd also have to adapt the oil feed/drain and the exhaust.

Also if you're going with a modified pump, a pyrometer and boost gauge are a must.
