Off boost cc with no smoke - awsrock - 05-01-2017

I am looking at getting a new pump soon and was wondering what some of you have for off boost settings on your pumps. I currently have an om603 with a 90cc 6mm pump which is set around 50cc off boost and have no smoke. I would like to keep it that way since I use my car daily and live in the city basically.

I assume 7 or 7.5mm elements with 50cc might still make some more power, but can I burn 55-60cc still? It seems most of the pumps I see are set around 50 min, except maybe the crazy 180cc+ models (which I will not be going for)

I have a full twin scroll manifold, 54mm turbo and 3" exhaust if that makes any difference....

Lol that is strange question, but if u set a 7.5mm pump to 70/80 it wont smoke much and 120 with boost is acceptable smoke...
The best is to use a means of tuning the thresholds. Like a outside ALDA.

Ah yes, outside ALDA.....I don't have one on my pump so I forgot most come with one now.

I work for the railroad and am usually half asleep.

Makes sense. 70cc sounds about what I would want so that is good to know.
