Reverse Light Switch - matfield - 10-19-2016

Hi Guys,

Looking for a bit of inspiration. How have people gone about mounting their reverse light switches if you're not using the Mercedes gear lever?

I have a simple gear lever that pushes/pulls a cable to the 722.6, but can't think of where to put the switch.

Thanks

Mat

Mat,

I do not know the situation, but what you can look for is how brake lights are done on bikes with the rear brake!

It is a kind of pull-switch, and the switch is connected to the foot-lever with a spring. So, when you step on the brake for 5mm, the switch already activates ... but when you press down for 3cm , the spring prevents the switch from breaking.
