Shopping list for a conversion - 190Gilly - 05-24-2016

Hi all,

I've just removed my om606 from my e300 donor car. I'm just trying to put a list together for what else I need. It's going into a Mercedes 190e 1.8 petrol.

I'm going to keep props, driveshafts, diff and the engine wiring harness, is there anything else I need take from the car before I scrap it? Planning on running a mechanical pump and a larger turbo in time, so I'm happy to take and keep anything I might need for the future. Is there a pump that feeds the mechanical pump that I can take from the e300?

I'm going to use a 6 speed box, and I gather I need m103 engine mounts/brackets for the swap.

What do I actually need from the wiring harness apart from the glow plug wiring/relay?

Any help would be much appreciated! If this is in the wrong section, I'm happy to start a project thread, I just don't have the pictures I wanted to start the thread to hand.

Thanks,

The only thing that u can keep from the donor car is the engine. All the other stuff like prop shaft, diff, glow wiring u have to take from a w124 if u dont wanna modify alot.

Awesome, thank you for the response! I would have thought I'm going to have to modify the prop slightly anyway to fit a six speed manual. I'll have a dog and see what I can find, cheers

doesn't the 606 have a computer controlling the injection pump? if so, make sure all the "smarts" go with you.
