Engine torque strut - EmJay - 01-11-2016

So I was looking under the hood of my 123, and I noticed that my mounts were needing replacement.  SImple nuff, but I also noticed that the mounts for the little shock absorbers were blown (like completely). My question, since I'm more experienced with other makes that don't use such, how important are these "torque struts"?  Hell, I don't even remember there being one on the 602 I put into my old Mazda...  Can I go without or is this a no no?

They're engine shock absorbers and are only there for reducing engine shake on shutoff I believe. The ones on my car are rooted and I don't intend on reinstalling them Wink
