OK, I have to admit defeat.
I'm trying to find the 5th gear ratio of the 716.640 with a view to
using it with my OM606. I'm not looking for fire breathing performance
On the drag strip just reliability and a relaxed cruise on the motorway.
Any advice gratefully received.

5th gear ratio on the 716.640 should be 1:1 and 0.83:1 in sixth
