Any 2 way vacuum solenoid valve.Used on many cars to control EGR. Connect it so the vacuum line that goes to the pump is opened to atmosphere when the solenoid is powered and when the solenoid is unpowered the line that goes into the pump is connected to the main vacuum supply line.  Wink

put one of those valves on and works the first time them when i go to start it again it seems like the vacuum stops the pump from shutting ,am i missing some thing here

Here's how i plumbed mine:

It's mounted on my w123 and works flawlesly. Couldn't take pictures because it was too dark.

Try trial and error, only 6 possible ways to plumb it, in 3 of those it won't run at all. You ought to get it right sometime  Big Grin
