oversized ac condenser for w126? - NapaBavarian - 04-09-2014

I would like to convert a w126 to r134a but I dont want to lose cooling ability, w124 can just swap in a late condenser, but I wondered what might fit a w126

W126 also had an improved later version, but I think a custom Parallel Flow would be much better. A 24x16 will fit. A 24x18 would be better, but may not fit.

The drawback of course is the need for custom hoses and custom mounting for the condenser.
