custom driveshaft for REDEMPTION - EmJay - 11-04-2013
So I have been looking at this thread for some time now, and I have decided that I am going to take care of my drive shaft angle issue using this method, eliminating the flex discs on my build.

This is one of the last issues that I am facing before getting my build back on the road after nearly a decade. What I am having a hard time figuring out though is if the same fittings in the thread will work on the rear end or not.

Another question, would it be possible to find one or two of these in the junkyard on an old Dodge van or something? I could also rob the drive shaft from said Dodge.

It was probably found on plenty of trucks if it's a dodge part, call the dealership and say "I've got a spicer ## and need to know if it is teh correct one for my 95 van" if they say no then ask if they can look up what car it went to.
On the other hand, $50 isn't bad for a new yoke in my book-you'd spend that much on an adapter plate to go ford anyway.

Do the pinion seals on the 185 and 210 diffs have the same O.D.? I assume he's using a 210 diff. Also, not that it matters for REDEMPTION, but I'd like to know what seal is needed for the 16v manual trans. *edit* It appears the 210 and 185 diffs have the same pinion seal part# unless it's an SL500 with the 4 bolt pinion flange.

I always said that if something killed the motor i my 16 valve I was going to put a 602 or 603 under the hood.
