OM606 NA and OM606 turbo injectors – are they the same? - maxypriest - 09-05-2013

I’m still using my OM606 turbo engine in my w210 daily driver (has turned out to be a cracking car). However I have a NA engine in the garage – can I send those injectors off to be re-freshed and pop them in the STD project later?

PS only just found out that OM stands for 'oil motor'...

I've got both engines logged in my EPC. The N/A injector part number ends 05 51 and the turbo injector 06 51

There must be some difference but quite what I can't tell from the EPC. DieselMeken might know if you send him a PM.

Nozzle is the same, DN0SD310 in both TD & N/A Engines. Difference is in the opening pressure, N/A 115 bar, TD 135bar
DN0SD310 is stock in some of the following Engines
OM605.912 83KW
OM605.962 110KW
OM606.912 100KW
OM606.962 130KW

Superpump equipped OM60X I set the pop pressure to 150bar

Yes, it is the same injectors! 150 bar is a good pressureBig Grin
