Yup. Looking for $150 + shipping.

I have a homemade 1/4" aluminum adapter plate I bought from a guy down in VA, comes with a Jeep flywheel drilled to the merc pattern.
I never installed it, he said that it ate a pilot bearing-which makes me think that you'd want to use a pilot bushing to align everything while you're assembling it.

That sounds pretty good, do you have a picture by any chance?

Hell no!

I'll get my brother to pull it out of storage and snap a photo though

Sounds good! As long as it doesn't look like a blind 9yr old made it it sounds like a good deal

Do you know when you'll have a picture of it? I've got a jeep sitting with a blown head gasket and a 300sd sitting in my driveway

Hey sorry to keep bugging you but I need to get this project going soon. I'm going to order one of the kits soon if I don't hear back from you soon but I'd love to save some money and take yours off your hands if possible

He finnally came thru *nod to greazzer*

Looks like a little surface rust.

Full disclosure, I have never fitted this to an OM617 or an AX-15. I would HIGHLY recommend getting a pilot bushing or alignment tool (basically a steel pilot bushing) to make sure it all lines up straight.

You will still need to come up with fasteners and a pilot bushing that fits, but those are both easy to procure.

hmmm its a little rougher than i was expecting, but looks like it will do the job. How about $150 shipped to zip code 95370? i found i can get a pilot bushing from a 73 cj-5, same exact size as the pilot bearing, just a bushing. thanks for the headsup on that! why didn't you end up using it?

Sounds like a plan. PM me your address and we'll get the ball rolling.

RE: WTB Mercedes OM617 to Jeep AX-15 kit - Simpler=Better - 01-20-2013

I never used it because my plan changed. A running DJ5 came by for $350, so I went that route. I'm now sitting on a DJ5, SM465, NP205, and mildly built 617.

RE: WTB Mercedes OM617 to Jeep AX-15 kit - jenyus - 01-20-2013

What kind of dj5? I had never heard of one before you said something about thwm

Mail jeeps. 2wd, I6, dynaglide, RHD. Had a hard top and sliding doors. Rear springs were on the outside of the frame rail stock. Funny front grill
