M-pump oil supply - ForcedInduction - 05-11-2009

The MW has the black hose running from the timing sprocket shaft bearing supply to the left side of the pump. Where does the oil go into the M-pump?

through the cam shaft.

Ah, I see, the shaft is hollow.

So when mounting the M-Pump I only need to block the MW's oil supply port with a normal metric bolt?

Good question. I don't know how it looks like behind the vac pump but as there are M and MW on the 617 block I hope there is no further difference in the IP oil supply. I don't even know how the oil gets into the shaft.

I came across this while browsing a French 409D service manual.
