As the title says I would like to buy a 300 SD w126 for a buddy of mine. Om617 only. With 200,000 miles or less. Looking to spend about 1,000 bucks. Somewhere in the midwest would be nice.

Umm. I got to find a trans for my w201 before I buy anything thing else that needs a trans. Even though I a trans for that car, just no time to install it...

needs fenders, a starter installed (which i have), injector fuel lines. my buddy took the exhaust and intake manifolds off to do the starter and then stopped and its been sitting. has new brakes and newer tires all the way around, new trans filter/fluid and some other stuff i have probably forgotten about. make a cash offer so we can get it out of his garage. if nothing else, grab it for parts. hate to see him scrap it.
