Which 722.6 for OM606 - kmaser - 01-30-2012
I currently have a OM606a bolted up to a 722.3 4 speed and I want to put a 722.6 5speed behind it using the PCS controller. It's in a g wagen so it needs to bolt up to the engine as well as be able to use the 6 bolt output flange to mate to the CV driveshaft. So the easiest would be to use a G500 transmission, does anybody know if the bellhousing is the same or did the V8 722.6 use a different bolt pattern that the OM606?

The 722.6 bellhousings are removable. V8 will be different of course.
