w123 engine swaps - suprakidd1 - 01-23-2012
hello guys im buying w123 turbo diesel for 1000 and ive owned a 79' w123 so i know how ridiculously reliable this cars are. but i was wondering if there any popular engine swaps ppl do to these chassis.. a couple i have in mind that i wouldnt mind doing are:
-toyota 3.0L 2jzgte
-dodge cummins 5 or 6 cyl turbo diesel
-maybe a newer mb turbo diesel engine?
also do any 5spd trans mate to the om617?

5 speed trany, hard to find.
6bt swap to heavy 5bt heavy 4bt heavy.
theres a bunch of newer mb motors that are great candidates.

There's one for sale on this site for 1300$ right now lol. 1st and probably the only ill ever see.
