om605 up to 350(hp) - only_diesel - 10-25-2011
Hi everybody, i‘am from Lithuania, so sorry for my wrongly english language.
About VAG groups diesel engine (TDI) performance I know everything, i have done some projects, but it is to little to me.
Now i wanna bought c250 w202 mercedes with om605 turbocharged engine, and upgrade +-350(hp). About turbocharger, manifold and intercooler i know something (use holset hy35 or something else) but i don't know about fuel system. What pump‘s elements is in stock this models car? If i want 350(hp) what fuel pump is better, mechanical or electrical? If needs bigger element, where i can get them (ebay?) and how much it cost? need change nozzles?
So if you can, tell me all story about om605 performance, because in my country no one not working with mercedes engines.

don't be so sure
Electrical fuel pump means a lot of problem and no solutions in our country. You should take mechanical IP from older 5 cylinder MB diesel engine. To your power goal it is enough to use stock elements you have in OM605 IP and modified delivery valves. There is no need to use others fuel nozzles.

can i use om602,961 fuel pump? how about pump's sprocket? everything bolt on?

Yes, you can use IP from OM602 engines.

I will give u some update when pump is installed on my om606. I see it happening sometime in late Nov / early Dec.
