RE: New Master Power R series turbo - Rub87 - 02-01-2012

(01-31-2012, 11:37 AM)antonmies if the comp housing changes, the map changes. Where is the 178034 you said the map is from?

http://turbosupplycenter.com/en/borgwarner/332-s200sx-56mm-recirc-high-flow-91-a-r.html here you can buy it if you want it

As you stated, the map indeed changes, and not only slightl broadenign of the efficiency islands.. it has a important inpact on surge characteristics, and in this case it widens the map a healthy portion

Yes, that's the general belief.

RE: New Master Power R series turbo - kmaser - 02-23-2012

I've sent a PM and emailed the website with no response so I thought I would post again for an update on the R444-2, if it is available yet or I there is a timeframe on it?
I need to replace my turbo ASAP and would really like to try this one?

Thanks

RE: New Master Power R series turbo - antonmies - 02-29-2012

RE: New Master Power R series turbo - sjwbond - 03-16-2012

Is the R545 good for a single turbo application on an om606, i.e. can it spool by 2500 rpm?

also approx how much is shipping to turkey and how quıickly can it be dispatched for delivery? I need a turbo pretty quıckly.... and Im interested in this one..

RE: New Master Power R series turbo - m2rkz - 09-01-2012

any experiances? Is it better than holset or not? And if it is better then tell me please why it is better?

RE: New Master Power R series turbo - m2rkz - 09-04-2012

I asked because at the moment I'm using Holset hx 40 but master power turbos have much better maps. Does anyone have experiance now? Is it realistic? And does it last?

RE: New Master Power R series turbo - jeemu - 09-04-2012

Just anwered you on your PM. Like i said Master Powers are been good on what we are used on them, old ones. These MPR series are new all around and not tested own cars yet, but responce id´s been good example MPR 61-Magnum and 545-2.

Bui it, test it and tell all how good is it Big Grin

RE: New Master Power R series turbo - majesty78 - 09-05-2012

I am quite sure they will outperform a similar siyed Holset ;-)

Two turbos, as in twin turbo or compoud turbo?

RE: New Master Power R series turbo - Turbo - 11-22-2012

If we speaking Sequential turbo set up with master power I can not find something since the pressure rate of the turbos is to low and out of the compressor map (of the pressure ratio so compound like some say would be what I am looking for

about 0,8kg/s at 4,2 bar absolute pressure and the exhaust pressure must be lower then the boost pressure at least at full boost, something that can make the work of a Garrett GTX4202R on top and a Borg warner efr 6258/ 7163 on the bottom. 1 bars boost from 1500rpm is required because of it is going to be a daily driver

It would be interesting to se what jeemu can come up with, I am open minded

I do not at this stage say exactly say what is done, but I can tell you it is a lot, and it is not just the engine...

RE: New Master Power R series turbo - thegooch27 - 12-19-2012

(12-19-2011, 02:36 PM)antonmies R4449-2, R474-3 or even R545-2 or 4 depending of wanted power output. But if the thing is the best low end and mid range, you should go with either 4449 or 474.

I am wondering if you had an opinion on the R384? I am looking for an upgrade to my OM617 Turbo daily driver. I am most interested in quick spooling take off power and do not care about more top end at all. I cannot find much info on the R384, and I realize it would require a t2 to t3 adapter. I am looking to get 150 hp with this upgraded turbo as well as an A/W intercooler and maxxing out my MW pump. Water/Meth is an option for me as well. Do you think these would be an option or it too small? Thanks

RE: New Master Power R series turbo - antonmies - 01-16-2013

Try R444-2

I'm throwing these out now, business was too slow Sad

Insane Prices

RE: New Master Power R series turbo - maKe- - 01-20-2013

Oh crap... Sad

Now my possible turbo choice is sold out, and no alternative suppliers available. R545-7 might have been excellent charger, but guess a HX35 or garrett gt/gtx equivalent will work also.

PM replied.
MaKe, I think that Tarvikemotti has R545-7 in stock. Contact Jeemu to find if it's still available.
