W123 Check Engine Light - jkeam - 04-01-2009
Hi, I just purchased an 84 300TD & loving it.
Only thing is that the check engine light comes on on idle when engine is cold but goes away once its in gear.
Any help would be appreciated.

There is no such thing. You're probably seeing the glowplug light tell you there is a bad glowplug.

this will also happen if you have a short somewhere and also when the voltage regulator is going out/your alternator is weak....
