W126 LCA bushings in W123 - capflya - 08-28-2011

Getting ready to do the front end of my W123 and I think I read somewhere you can use w126 bushings instead of stock w123 bushings, and the w126 bushings are better/stronger?

I tried searching but didn't have any luck so I figured it was time to ask.

Thanks in advance

Yes they are stronger and in my opinion better built. You can interchange them.

Interesting. Next time I replace mine, I will go for the W126 ones.

FSM specifies them for use with 15" wheels.

Is this for LCA and UCA? and what will happen if you use them with the regular 14"s?

LCA, we assume last longer.

(10-04-2011, 03:44 PM)winmutt LCA, we assume last longer.

So we still have to stick with w123 UCA bushings?
