Damn I should have picked it at the yard!
Some one pulled the Euro lights quick as hell. This thing was dropped off literally w/in hours upon my arrival.
I hid the bumper somewhere in the yard just in case..

I can pull it for like $25 bucks, will try and get it tomorrow and just store it. Could always triple my money if I decide to resell.8)

Yes, you should have!

That bumper is damn rare and expensive, even in Europe. It only came on the 280E and Coupe models...
It's what EVERYONE wants!

RE: Euro bumper - smoke026 - 08-26-2011

I pulled them for an insultive amount of "NOTHING" Im almost ashamed to say how cheap I got it for. Its almost theft! 8)

Needles to say, I now have both bumpers on my possession. Thanks to WINMUTT for the superbly quick response while I updated the Thread while at the Yard. Thank you sir.

This little 280CE still has my undivided attn. Im gonna pull more stuff from her tomorrow. A lot of the parts on this particular Euro version car are quite pricey. Google is such a great thing.

The 3pcs are worth more than the 1 pc.

You need euro lights.

RE: Euro bumper - smoke026 - 09-01-2011

Yeah I know, Im just gonna wait till i could get them for practically free.

RE: Euro bumper - mike-81-240d - 09-04-2011

Depos with the clear corners... Dont mess with old crusty hella's and bosch's, practically all of them need new reflectors, seals, or lenses.

I would have gone with Depo's but I like my low specs too much to give them up.

RE: Euro bumper - JustPassinThru - 09-04-2011

I have a pair of Euro bumpers, I pulled them from a '79 280CE in a Seattle strip lot a few months ago. The front bumper has headlight washer nozzles. I am reluctant to install the Euro bumpers on my 300D though. True, they would shorten the car somewhat, but, wouldn't I lose my 5 mile-per-hour impact resistance?

These Euro bumpers did not have any kind of rubber ends on them. Are these bumpers supposed to have ends, i.e. side pockets, like the regular U.S. bumpers have?
