VE Pump possibilities? - winmutt - 03-17-2009

So Mario has a new youtube video up :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3CFRhp0HI0&NR=1

Showing an MW pump in place of a VE pump on an om60X. Any reason we can't do this on the 617 in reverse? There are plenty of more options in the VE realm, he said this pump came with 10mm plungers....

Yes Mario is over at the s . c. h . u . m . a . n and posted his accomplishment over there. He stated lack of 602 parts in area.

The only thing is that thing even timed right? Knock/nailing on that, sounds terrible.

You can say schumansautomotive.com here. We don't pretend to have any of the pretenses of any of the other forums (non compete or just plain narcissistic assholes who apparently don't know there assholes from their elbows), everyone with valuable input is welcome here. I would be perfectly happy if henry or bhd (I can think of a few acronyms) came here. I also won't claim intellectual property on whatever is posted here (you will notice that they take the pretense to own ALL data that is posted there), you the poster retain intellectual property (and therefore liability) when you participate here. The only thing I will do is protect other's intellectual property rights, particularly as outlined by the DMCA.

YES!

And that is an awesome link. Now I want to see a P pump on a built 616.

Humm, how much power can 13mm plungers make on a 61x? Big Grin

Enough to be rendered irrelevent by the *BANG* you hear from the crank snapping... that is unless a valve burns up or a piston melts first.

You are assuming the stroke is the same. Anyone know how much fuel these will put out?
