FS: GT2359V, modified for vacuum control - ForcedInduction - 02-15-2011

GT2359V from a 2006 E320 CDI. Modified from electronic to vacuum control. A new vacuum actuator is included with the turbo. Its in great condition, there was no soot to clean from the vane mechanism and it operates very smooth. I bought it from a guy that replaced it for a failed electronic actuator.

Asking $500 with free shipping.

Well, I have no engine to use it with right now, but if it doesn't sell by tomorrow night, I might sell my testicles to buy it.

The turbo is stock except for the removal of the electronic actuator's mount casting.

A 2359 should be good for around 225hp.

Hey Forced,

I know you don't like my motor (91 OM603 diesel), but it was rebuilt by mercedes under warranty at 80,000 miles. I was told the rebuild's cost was $10,000. (So, maybe it could handle this modification without blowing up.)

Would your GT2359V go on my car? How much more power would I get?

Heh, will it. There's always mods involved, you kinda have to make it work. Although I wonder how much more power a 3.5l can get (obligatory needs more fuel reminder btw).

It's got really good power now, and I baby the hell out of it. If I was getting more power and used it, I wonder if stuff would break more often.

Yes it will fit a 603, I've seen it before.

The improvement in low end torque is where most of the power can be felt. It will also pick up a few mpg on the highway since it won't make "useless boost" like a wastegated turbo.

For a 3.5's weak rods, the greatly improved low end torque wouldn't help that bending problem...

Well, my breeding days are hopefully done, but I still have my testes and they are big enough to buy on a whim.

It will be a nice mod to my 87 603 Wagon.

RE: FS: GT2359V, modified for vacuum control - aaa - 06-15-2011

No it's not, you would have to put some effort into making it fit.

Besides, he took it apart anyways. I don't think it's for sale anymore.
