Block Heater on 300D - RCPro87 - 12-25-2010

I have searched and searched but was unsuccessful. Do I have a block heater installed on my 1985 300D or not? Where would I find the plug if there was one?

Thanks in advance

Check pass side of block for a brass lump with a spot for a cord to plug in. If all you find is a water plug with a 19mm hex, you'll need to put one in yourself.

Look for a plug to the upper rear of the starter. Of there is a blank thread-in plug you're out of luck for a block heater since they are near impossible to remove without major effort.

10 foot cheater bar on a 3/4" drive breaker bar, 3/4" 6 point socket, and a chunk of 3/4 hex stock.

Have to take the manifolds off, prop the hood vertical, and give it enough force you think you'll crack the block, but they can be removed.

Probably easier to do it with the engine in the car instead of on a hoist like I did it...
