bearings, head gasket, o rings om617 - BRABUS - 09-22-2010
Hello
I have a om617 turbo im rebuilding. I need the bearings for the crank and rods and piston rings. Where to buy these? maybe a place that sells all the others orings, gaskets and head gasket?
I can buy it here in my country, but in the US its probably 1/4 of the price as usual.
Is it h beam rods to find to this engine? or do i have to order on measurements?

Hmn well the first place i would look is maybe Parts Geek, also Autohausaz they both have good prices.

germanautoparts.com is a great place and they have great customer service. They charge actual shipping as well. I prefer to use them even though sometimes they are a bit more expensive.

The things you need aren't cheaper in the US. And shipping and customs are a added bonus.
The best place is probably the MB dealership nearby. You recive the ordered items the next day, all OEM quality.

maybe you can post or PM the parts list and the source where you bought it.
This stuff doesn't get cheaper in the future and I might invest in something...
