Clocking a gt22v - aaa - 08-10-2010

So this is the electronic version from the '06 sprinter. First q is, what size are those little bolts. They seem to be tad under 8mm, maybe 7.5. Not sure where I'd find something odd sized like that.

Next q, the mount for the actuator is cast into the compressor housing. So would rotating the housing interfere with actuator operation?

The Garrett VNT turbine housings (other than the newer VK series) can be naturally clocked in three positions. Any other and you'll have to drill new holes to mount the vane ring where you need it.

If all you do is rotate is the turbine, the center and compressor will still be aligned and the actuator will control it the same.

The air inlet points down though, I want it pointing up.
