'83 300D - xswingkidx - 07-24-2010
Sold my Honda and picked this up yesterday. Just passed emissions and got it registered but until I can do a proper photo shoot this is all I have.
Hoping to add amg rims, a boost gauge, fmic and maybe lowering springs in the future. For right now though, I just LOVE driving it. This is my first benz and I'm already obsessed with it.

The user name is from the movie Swing Kids but yes, I do like the band as well. I never got to see them but I have a 7" from them that I like a lot.

The user name is from the movie Swing Kids but yes, I do like the band as well. I never got to see them but I have a 7" from them that I like a lot.

I saw the Locust once but never really got into them. A lot of the people around me that listened to them were very pretentious though so that might have had something to do with it.
The movie is about kids into swing music in WW2 era Germany. I'm not sure how historically accurate it is but its a good movie. The soundtrack is great too.

I saw The Locut with Cattle Decapitation once...best show ive ever been too.

Thats the one when they are all rockin' out at the dance, and the brownshirts show up and arrest everyone? I think ive seen this too. It was a good movie
Was it kind of like Footloose, but with Nazis and death instead of disapproving church folk and Kevin Bacon?
On point, that is a VERY clean car. Once again, I hate you westerners

Yes, that is the movie.
And as for the 300D, I still can't believe how clean it is. No rust, original paint, nothing wrong with the interior. The only thing I found that needs to be replaced is a small section of the chrome on the grille.
