Looking for a cast iron 5 speed to swap cases with my 4speed for a W123. Preferably something broken in gears 1-4. PM me.

I doubt it will be that easy. Methinks that the guts are unique to the 5-speed and only the case, tail and bell are the same.

Er I am pretty certain the 5speed has a diff tail where the gearing sits for it.
