Bluetec in a 190d - winmutt - 04-26-2010

This months Mercedes Enthusiast has a 190D conversion with a bluetec engine. Great mag but its like 12-16$ an issue. I am going to try to get in touch with the owner of the 190D and or scan and post the images.

well... if anyone is willing to pony up the cash, you too can have bluetec:

albeit a little larger than the aforementioned one...should still be pretty efficient w/o the minivan-suv clothing

Should be lots of fun to fool the CAN, NOT.

IMO for that sort of money, a lot more can be done to the w201 that will be faster, and lighter.

They said the weight difference was 25kg. Obviously its a ridiculous priced engine here, I imagine they are a good deal cheaper over there. Still sounds like fun Big Grin More importantly, there are more deranged people out there like us Big Grin
