Transmission and Torque Converter are on garage floor also ( I cut the cooler lines, so you'll have to reuse yours )

I live in S. Louisiana but can ship ( you pay shipping cost ) !! I can also accept PAYPAL ( if you pay the 2.9 % fee )

PM me your cell phone # and I can text you as many pics as you would like !! OR email ... harlow.hutchinson@cox.net

RE: ADDED PICS FOR YA !! Parting out 1984 300D ( No Engine ) 142,000 miles
That is a nice car to be parting out. This makes me sad that I don't have the room to buy the whole thing. Dang.

I agree. Unless its got some hidden rust, that car looks better than 99% of the cars I looked at when shopping for my 300D.

1982 300D VNT
Modifications: M-Pump, GT2256V VNT turbo, A/W intercooler, W/M injection, W115 300D intake, straight pipe exhaust, #265 nozzles, 2-micron Baldwin fuel filter, W126 Gen-II 300mm brakes, battery relocated to the trunk, HVAC systems removed, 15mm rear sway bar, 3.46 diff, Mobil1 15W-50 synthetic oil and Galant front seat.

1980 240D 3.0T
Modifications: OM617.95, 4-speed manual, W/M injection, 2-micron Baldwin BF7591-D fuel filter, ALDA removed, no EGR, 3.07 diff, Amsoil EaBP 90 bypass oil filter, Mobil1 5W-40 synthetic oil.

NO hidden rust anywhere !! Came from the houston TX area !! I need it gone soon.....

Had a member that wanted to buy alot of parts and after I spent 3 hours pulling parts ..... he changed his mind !!!! I have the passenger door mirror and wiring back to center console .. all of center console ... fuel tank level sender... a/c control assbly.. all 4 toggle switches above a/c control ( wanted sunroof and took all ) ....all of steering column and dash gauge cluster ..... all of this is pulled and ready for shipment ( but if you wanted whole car I could put it all back ) !!

Gonna grab anything I think would be of value and send rest of it to scrap @ $150 per ton ....... someone please PM me before I have to send it to scrap !!

here is a link to more pics of the car as well as my JEEP project that the engine went into !! .... Pics of the car are scattered throughout the photostream some on page one and some on page 4 !!

South Central ..... Near Lafayette !!

I see you are in San Antonio, TX. That is less than 8 hours drive. I have a small tractor to assist with loading onto your car hauler/ utility trailer with ramps !! Maybe we can work something out to meet for a little more $$ ; but loading and unloading would be a terrible PITA without an electric winch to move the car around !!!

My friends....

IT IS ALIVE !!!

Got it started last nite using the mercedes electronics ; Unfortunately it had a fuel leak so could only let it idle for less than 10 minutes !! Of , course it was 10 pm so I must go spend my day searching down the leak !!

GOtta GO !!! I am so stoked ; since it was not much louder than a common rail cummins and that was thru the straight pipe exhaust since I have not connected it to my JEEP muffler yet which is a DYNOMAX ULTRAFLO !!

Ditto, if you were in CO I'd take it right now just to save the good body for a drivetrain project. (It's screaming for a Cummins 4BTA or Detroit 3-53!)

If you were interested in purchasing it, you could list it on U-ship just to see what it might cost to truck to you. I did that once with a hulk out of florida. Cost me 350 bucks to ship 1500 miles, and it had a broken tie rod, flat tires, and the engine was in the trunk.

700 bucks might still be worth it for what he's asking. There are options

Thank you very much !! I have a couple of very interested parties already !!!

AND Thank GOD !! I just hated the idea of sending the rust free body off to be crushed !!

I just went to the link and saw how I am getting thrown to the wolves and BASHED !!!! PLEASE LET THEM KNOW ..... THE CAR ORIGINALLY HAD AN IGNITION SWITCH PROBLEM AND THE ORIGINAL OWNER HAD IT SITTING IN A BARN FOR OVER 3 YEARS ( BEFORE I RESCUED IT ( FOR ITS MOTOR ; OF COURSE )) !!!!! THE STEERING COLUMN AND DASH CLUSTER WERE ON THE PASSENGER SEAT WHEN I RESCUED IT !!!

Depending on what the shipping rates would be, I'm interested.

The catch is that I'm up in Washington, so I may yet be out of luck.
Don't hold it on my part, if someone wants it, but please don't crush it yet!

I've been looking for a better home for my manual trans and the rebuilt 617 turbo out of my parts car, rather than putting them in the slowly dying 300sd I'm driving.

the original motor and trans? didn't you put that in a jeep?

you should fire that stuff back in the car if you have it and sell a running driving car.

You figure out sensible shipping and I would consider it !! PM me for a price of just the motor without the car !!

YES !! I pulled it out of the jeep and unfortunately , the car has a ignition switch in the column problem ; and when I bought the car the steering column was sitting in the passenger seat !!! I don't know how to repair this , so it is not gonna leave my yard as a driving car !!
I could set the motor and trans back into the car and ship the whole car !!

FOR SALE :::::: 1984 300D with OM617 steering column ignition switch problems !! Need to get it out of my yard !!! $$ 600
