Hydraulics
Hey I did a search on here for Hydraulic suspension and nothin came up so I thought I would ask.. Does anyone know what type of Hydraulic suspension fits on these cars and how do they cost? I have seen a few custom W126 Diesels raised and lowered by the flick of a switch and would like to have this in my 300SDL. I guess keyword could be "Car Hydraulics" Big Grin

RE: Hydraulics
Hydropneumatic self leveling suspension (SLS). Those W126 diesels were probably either ex-560SELs or converted using those donor parts.

Modifications: M-Pump, GT2256V VNT turbo, A/W intercooler, W/M injection, W115 300D intake, straight pipe exhaust, #265 nozzles, 2-micron Baldwin fuel filter, W126 Gen-II 300mm brakes, battery relocated to the trunk, HVAC systems removed, 15mm rear sway bar, 3.46 diff, Mobil1 15W-50 synthetic oil and Galant front seat.

1980 240D 3.0T
Modifications: OM617.95, 4-speed manual, W/M injection, 2-micron Baldwin BF7591-D fuel filter, ALDA removed, no EGR, 3.07 diff, Amsoil EaBP 90 bypass oil filter, Mobil1 5W-40 synthetic oil.

RE: Hydraulics
sorry i think you misunderstood. Im not looking for self leveling suspension, im looking for the suspension they us in lowriders the ones where you can adjust the hight of each wheel and raise and lower the car by the flick of a switch.

RE: Hydraulics
Well. There is a 4way SLS option for W126. Super rare. But again, if you are looking for "switches" then you are talking custom....

1987 300D "The Project" Coming Soon : H&R lowering springs, Bilstein Sports.
1991 300D "Cream Puff"
1974 L508D Motoroam "NightMare"
