i just purchased w116 euro headlights to update my car and got for a great price. the seller said they use H4 bulbs. So does this mean i can use any h4 bulb especially like the sylvania ultra white h4 bulbs or similar aftermarket h4?

I use H4s in mine...the silverstar ultras...much better than the stockers I replaced...I think the fogs are H3?

EDIT: I just realized that you were talking about w116... mine are 123, dunno if that makes a difference, but I'd assume the seller knew what they were talking about, youll likely need to adapt the plugs to the newer style, I think I used brake light harness plugs to make mine work... theres prolly a thread here or over on peachparts that details it
