injector nozzle question
I know I have seen some posts where VW injectors were used...

My question is do the VW nozzles themselvs for like a 1.6 or 1.9 diesel?

I have seen these listed for VW
The DN0SD265 nozzle

I thought I might be able to use these in my Mercedes 617?

I also saw some posts about the 240 nozzles
Does anyone have a source for these?

*How would you rate the Monark nozzles against these?

thanks

RE: injector nozzle question
DN0SD265 is an MB nozzle used in OM601/2/3 engines, not VW.
240/ nozzles are technically better in the 61x engines, but the prespray hole clogs easily.

There is no significant advantage to using either except quieter idle with the 240/ nozzles. Injectors are not a limitation on IDI engines like they are DI engines since there are no orifice holes to inject through.

The VW parts used are just the 2-stage injector bodies themselves, MB nozzles were installed.

RE: injector nozzle question
[b]Thanks ForcedInductionSmile!

I thought that was true about the 265's but I found a guy that has them but he listed them for VW...

I have a set of Monarks in the wagon and they seem to work well...got a set of 240's out of the wagon that look pretty good just not sure how to really check them...I thought about putting the 240's in my 240D...

*I have two of those early 5cyl n/a manifolds on the way. I want to add some items to my 300SD...the others one will be going into my 240d 4spd manual car when I put a 617turbo in it...

The below list of nozzles have been used in OM.61x engines...

DNOSD1510
DNOSD220
DNOSD240
DNOSD240/A
DNOSD261

There may be others, but those above I have confirmed and have been seen...

It should have them from the factory.
