Well it failed me the other day so I'm looking for a new transmission for my 87 190D.

Where are you located?

I'm located in upstate NY.

aaa, the transmission will not shift into forth.

Oh, damn, well thats a taad bit far from me.
I just found a 5speed in a late 1980s 190d at the local pick a part

I have a good torque converter from a om603 engine

Just wanted to make sure will any diesel transmission from a 190d bolt right up to mine?

The junk yards say there different and wont work, are they different part numbers or something?

I have a transmission from the 617 I just purchased. Was removed from a 195k car. Believe the donor was an 83 300. I have the torque converter also if needed.

Was looking for $200 obo and I'm located in central NJ.

Thanks Stomis i just got one. And i believe that transmission has the starter on the wrong side but thanks again.
